Hey friends! Happy New Year! I know it’s been awhile…and really my only excuse is that I became preoccupied with so many other things…BUT one of my goals for 2019 is to give this blog the attention I really want to!
We have had so much going on these past several months, but the biggest thing is that our family will be moving back to North Carolina for my husband’s job! We are really excited about this move…we LOVE NC…I mean, I was getting really tired of trying to prove that basketball is a sport down here in SC ;-). Time to get back to our Tarheels! But we are also going to miss so many great things about Greenville and so many GREAT people!
With all of the planning for our move, Christmas came and went SO quickly! But we….
Oh wait, sorry for the delay…Brown Bear was just thrown into my lap…I honestly have that book memorized, so I just quote it to her and she thinks I’m reading it…
Ok where was I?! Christmas! Yes! I was saying that we found time to enjoy my FAVORITE time of the year.
We took Andie and her cousin Jack to see Santa…I think they enjoyed it…
Y’all, I’m not going to lie…Santa ain’t that friendly looking…let’s just plop our kids down in this creepy-looking man’s lap and expect them to “smile really big for the camera” – Parenting 101.
Much better now…
We spent a few days in Raleigh with my family, and took the kiddos to the Marbles Museum there…if you live in the area, I highly recommend this place! We had a great time!
Christmas comes and goes so fast and it makes me sad…however this year I couldn’t wait to get my decorations down – our house will be on the market next week, so it’s time to purge and clean and purge and clean and stop to feed the toddler goldfish for the 13th time today…
I promise to be a much better blogger in 2019! And even if no one reads it, I enjoy writing this blog and have high expectations that Nordstrom is going to reach out to me to collaborate on a post with them…big goals over here.
Here’s to a great 2019 filled with new cities, more blogs, and hopefully less toddler tantrums.
Happy New Year, sweet friends!
